An Iftar Program Held in Honor of Martyrs’ Families and Veterans
An iftar program was held at Çatladıkapı Social Facilities by the Istanbul Martyrs’ Veterans and Anti-Terror Foundation in honor of the families of martyrs and veterans.
The Foundation’s General President Kutbettin Ömeroğlu stated that the mission of the foundation is to reach more martyr families and veterans and to always be by their side.
Deputy Minister of National Education Nazif Yılmaz, who attended the program, emphasized that people feel safe wherever the Turkish flag waves, thanks to the sacrifices of our martyrs and veterans.
AK Party Istanbul Provincial Vice President, Social Policies Chairman Yusuf Aslan drew attention to the wars occurring in many regions around the world and around Turkey, highlighting the importance of unity and solidarity.
During the program, Foundation General President Kutbettin Ömeroğlu presented plaques on behalf of the foundation to Yusuf Aslan and Nazif Yılmaz.
Among those attending the Iftar Table were: SHGETAM Board of Trustees and Deputy Minister of National Education Nazif Yılmaz, AK Party Istanbul Provincial Vice President Yusuf Aslan, SHGETAM Board of Trustees and Vakıfbank Board Chairman Mustafa Saydam, Bahçelievler District Police Chief Necati Aktuğ Şahin, AK Party Central Headquarters Ethics and Integrity Board Member Lawyer Ergin Telli, Istanbul Regional Tax Evasion Department Head Önal Akçay, Chief Inspector of the Ministry of Labor and Social Security Orhan Kotan, SGK Fatih District Director Coşkun Bilgin, DHMİ Chief Abdullah Enis Eker, Vakıfbank SME Chairman Tevfik Erpek, Istanbul Regional Court Public Prosecutor Şerafettin Özdemir, Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor Deputy Abdulkadir Başarır, European Economic Senate Member İraj Alipour, members of various boards, audit board members, representatives of bureaucracy and politics, and the families of martyrs and our veterans.
