CARE SUPPORT PROGRAM:

As the Martyr Veteran and Struggle Against Terror Foundation, we consider it our most sacred duty to facilitate the lives of the relatives of our disabled veterans and martyrs who have sacrificed their health and lives for our homeland. With the Care Support Program we developed for our rights holders who cannot carry out daily life activities alone due to severe injuries, limb loss, aging, or chronic diseases, we provide the comfortable and dignified life support that our heroes deserve.

1. Our Services within the Care Support Program

• Home Care and Companion Support: Professional patient care and companion support are provided to severely disabled veterans who cannot take care of themselves and to elderly parents of our martyrs living alone, or financial care assistance is provided for this service.
• Medical Care and Supply of Consumables: All periodic medical consumables not covered by SGK, such as adult diapers, hospital beds, special nutritional products, hygiene kits, and wound care materials, are regularly provided by our foundation for rights holders who are permanently bedridden or have special care needs.
• Home Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation: To protect and improve the physical functions of our disabled veterans who have difficulty accessing hospitals, home physical therapy sessions are organized with expert physiotherapists.
• Accessibility Arrangements in Living Spaces: Architectural renovations such as making bathrooms and toilets suitable for disabled use, installing patient lifts, and constructing wheelchair ramps are carried out to increase the mobility of our veterans in need of care.

2. Who Can Benefit from Care Support?

Within the framework of our foundation’s budget capabilities and social assistance regulations, the legal rights holders who can primarily benefit from this support are as follows:

• Our Disabled Veterans who have been documented as “unable to lead their life without the help and support of others” (Severe Disability/Completely Dependent) with an official health board report,
• The spouses, parents, and guardians of our Martyrs who cannot meet their personal care needs alone due to aging, chronic illness, or disability.

3. Application Process and Required Documents

Applications for care support can be made by the rights holder themselves or a first-degree legal relative through the “Care Support Request Screen” on our website or by physical application to our foundation center. Required documents for application:

1. Current Health Board Report: An official hospital report clearly indicating the disability/dependency status and the need for home care.
2. Veteran/Martyr Relative Identity Document: A photocopy of the official identity card issued by the Ministry of Family and Social Services of the Republic of Turkey.
3. Social Assessment Request Form: A foundation application form summarizing the type of need and household situation.

4. On-site Assessment and Principle of Confidentiality

After the application, our foundation’s expert social service personnel visit the rights holder at their residence to prepare an on-site Social Assessment Report. The type, duration, and amount of care support are finalized based on this report by the Board of Directors. All care processes are conducted in complete confidentiality in accordance with the Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data, maintaining the utmost respect for the privacy of our heroes and their families.
